Abstract
This article investigates into the use of anglicisms in Russian and Hindi language. It highlights the reasons for the considerable influence of English on these recipient languages. The attempt is also made to analyze as to how these languages systems have adapted to the use of anglicisms. The advent of globalization has led to the cross pollination amongst languages, thereby transforming English into a global language. Borrowed words have been permeating in Russian and Hindi for centuries, due to the constant development, change, and contact of the Russian and Indian people with other people and their cultures. It is obvious that borrowed vocabulary, entering the respective language, affects the cultural level of society. As newspapers are a media outlet and a source of influence on society, a large number of anglicism has entered into Russian and Hindi through them. The relevance of the study is that the consideration of problems related to the theory and practice of borrowing is particularly significant in modern conditions, as today there are serious concerns about a powerful influx of borrowing, which can lead to the depreciation of the native Russian and Hindi words. With the changing society, we need to update ourselves, so as the language. It's essential to learn new things but not at the cost of losing our own culture, language and our own ethnicity. We ought to remember that our origin is everything that we have, and it should never be lost.

Language can be defined as a set of codes and instructions which are used to exchange our feelings and thoughts. It is a tool which renders an objective understanding of even the most abstract and subjective ideas. Language is a dynamic thing that evolves continually with the evolution of human society, and since human societies across the globe are not monolithic in all aspects and are heterogeneous, different parts of the world have different languages. Furthermore, as globalization has transcended the borders of nations, cross-pollination amongst languages has ended up being one of its inevitable consequences. As we all know, globalization has made English into a global language, as it has become an essential part of the workplace environment across many parts of the globe so that Trans-National Corporations (TNCs) may render seamless and effective services to their customers. This is one of the prominent reasons why there are abundant instances of use of anglicism in Russian and Hindi. This article has tried to explore such instances and their impact in detail in one of the subsequent sections.
Language change is an inescapable and consistent procedure that is achieved by a mix of sociological, psychological, monetary, and international elements. A large portion of the progressions that happen in a characteristic standard language are unintentional, indirect, and inadvertent; they are the consequence of socio-social course of occasions. The ever-changing social situation creates conditions and circumstances that bring about language change. As Ferdinand de Saussure noted, "Time changes all things: there is no reason why language should escape this universal law".1
Merriam Webster defines "Anglicism" means as "a characteristic feature of English occurring in another language, adherence or attachment to English customs or ideas"2. This word is derived from Medieval Latin ‘anglicus’ English, 1642, which later became anglicism.
Foreign words have been borrowed by Russian and Hindi in different ways. It is not easy to distinguish between direct borrowing and borrowing by the means of a third language. It is well known that borrowing foreign words is one of the ways of language development. In the period of globalization, the impact of English on Russian and Hindi in all spheres of life. At this point, American English has become nearly the main wellspring of loan words in Russian as well as in Hindi.
Language always responds quickly and is very flexible to the needs of the society. Very often, borrowings are the result of contacts, relationships between people, and States. Many foreign words borrowed by the Russian and Hindi languages, are so well assimilated by themselves that their origin is only revealed by etymological analysis. However, as research in these areas show, there always has been a different view on borrowing amongst scientists and linguists. Some believe that with the help of borrowed words, the Russian and Hindi languages can develop and expand their vocabulary, and that borrowings give words new shades of meaning. Whereas, others believe that borrowings actually end up clogging the language instead.
This paper will look into the use of anglicisms in Newspapers. The articles in the Newspapers include such spheres of human activity as economics, business, politics, sports, science, art, and others. It is observed that anglicisms are used in each of these areas.
Due to globalization, changes which are constantly occurring in modern society affect one’s conditions of life, way of thinking and their language. Newspapers describe new social and cultural phenomena of life and introduce new concepts into the language, and new grammatical norms in understanding the picture of the world. The use of vernacular, jargon, argot, vulgarisms, anglicism, and other linguistic and stylistic means is one of the main feature characteristics of the language of the newspaper.
