3. As a person with certain personal parameters (competencies) that characterize
the features of his mental activity, personal values, emotional-communicative and
organizational skills.
A person's values are formed based on their needs and interests. They can be
tangible or intangible. Personal values, along with deep life interests, play an
important role in job satisfaction and motivation to work.
According to the research, the most significant values for an innovator are
independence, achievement and stimulation, and the least preferred are tradition and
conformity. Also, "innovators value freedom of choice, creativity, knowledge,
novelty and competition in life; try to be Autonomous and independent, Express their
own interests; strive to achieve success; do not adapt to the environment." In contrast
to innovators, employees who take a conservative position in relation to innovation
are distinguished by such values as security, stability, certainty and predictability of
the world around them.
4. As an individual with a characteristic behavioral type, who capable of
fulfilling certain social roles in a team.
According to the theory of command roles of M. Belbin, this can be an
implementer, a coordinator, an engine (shaper), an idea generator (plant), a resource
investigator, assessor (monitor-evaluator), team worker, closer (completer-finisher),
specialist-expert [1].
Why is it necessary to determine the characteristics of the staff? The answer, in
our opinion, is obvious. Without such information, it is not possible to effectively
solve such management tasks as the formation of an organizational culture, an
adequate innovation strategy for the company's development, the development and
implementation of personnel strategies and technologies, determining the parameters
of a competitive value proposition to employees, etc. In General, they characterize
the favorable internal environment of the production for the development and
manifestation of the innovative potential of human capital.
