Annotation.  In  modern  conditions  of  socio-economic  development,  the 
requirements for the higher education system are increasing, in connection with which 
there  is  a  need  to  build  an  effective  management  system  for  higher  educational 
institutions.  The  article  discusses  the  forms  of  collegial  management  bodies  in 
universities,  whose  activities  are  aimed  at  improving  management  processes,  basic 
business processes, resource management, and monitoring procedures.
