Mark your calendars for the Wenatchee Enological Society Summer Picnic at Martin-Scott Winery at 1 p.m. on June 24! The winery is on the Pangborn Bench overlooking the Columbia River and across to Mission Ridge. It's a tee-shot west of Highlander Golf Course (yes, that's west, not south), at 3400 10^th Street SE. Mike & Judi Scott produce 22 wines, using grapes from their own vineyard, as well as from select vineyards on the Wahluke Slope and Red Mountain. We will be tasting five of their wines: Pinot Gris, Rosé of Sangiovese, Tempranillo, Montepulciano, and Counoise

Tasting fee is only $5. Please bring your own plates, utensils, chairs (lawn or otherwise), and, perhaps, a guest or two.

To get to Martin-Scott Winery, take Grant Road out of East Wenatchee heading toward Pangborn Airport. As you approach the airport, take the right-turn-only lane onto S Union Avenue. That will take you along the airfield to your left, then the golf course on your right, until you have to turn left onto 10^th Street SE. After your turn, the entrance to the winery will be on your right.

We will be around the production building by the road, NOT at the tasting room. Mike asks that we park south and east of the production building, NOT at the tasting room. Watch for signs (or folks waving their arms).
Food:

This is a potluck affair. Bring a dish to share.

Although we'll be tasting, it will be typical winery pours.

We encourage you to purchase a bottle of your favorite from the winery to enjoy with your meal.

(Prices: Reds - $24-30; Whites/Rosés - $15-18)
Please bring your own table settings and chairs (lawn or otherwise); We'll provide the glasses.

(The Admission fee will go directly to the winery as a tasting fee. Feel free to purchase bottles of their delectable wines,

but the Admission fee will not be refundable with purchase.)
