There are three styles of letters.The writing style depends on who you are writing to.They are:formal style,informal style,semi-formal style.

Informal letters.

• When you are writing someone you know well(your close relative,best friend,sister…..) you should use informal style.

Formal style.

• When you are writing someone you don’t know,or to someone who is in authority(the director of a factory,a doctor ,the rector of institute….) you should use formal style.

Semi-formal style.

• When you are writing to someone you don’t know know very well,or someone you want to be polite and respectful to (your friend’s parents,your teacher)you should use semi-formal style.
