Lesson: What`s in the kitchen

Equipments: cards, handouts, pictures, poster, DVD-player
Aims:
To teach pupils to name home appliances;
To learn prepositions of place ,
to develop listening, writing ,reading and speaking skills of the pupils
Time: 45 minutes
Preparation: . sticks pictures (for the game) to the different parts of the classroom, fixes a poster to the board.
Procedure of the lesson:

T.: Good morning dear pupils!
P.: Good morning, good morning
Good morning to you,
Good morning our teacher
We are glad to see you
T.: I'm glad to see you too. You may take your seats.
Who is absent today? (T. checks the attendance of the children)
P: Everybody is here today.
T: Well take out your books ,pens and be ready for the lesson!
Let`s begin our lesson!

T.: Let's check up your home task. Who wants to retell the poem "Our house "?
P: It’s my house. It’s my home!
It’s my living room. I watch TV.
It’s my bedroom. I play with my toys.

The explanation of new theme:
Activity 1 Play “Conductor” .8min
Objective: to warm by playing a game
Teacher should prepare technical equipments before the lesson . Teacher says pupils -“Now we will listen to song and try to remember the song”
Teacher plays DVD player and pupils will listen to the song .
DVD script:
It’s my house. It’s my home! (2 times)
It’s my living room. I watch TV.
It’s my bedroom. I play with my toys.
It’s my bathroom. I wash my teeth.
It’s my kitchen. I have my lunch.

After listening the song teacher gives them instructure about the game “Conductor”.
In this game teacher devides the class into three groups and gives to the each group into two rows of the song and each group should learn by heart their own rows of the song in giving time. After that teacher choses one leader into the class . This leader will be a Conductor of the game . The role of the conductor: he/she should conduct all groups turn by turn with a stick. When conductor shows one group this group should sing their given rows. The game will continue in this way until all groups will sing their rows. If she/he will conduct all groups rightly groups will product one song and teacher will get expecting result of the game .
Activity2 Look listen and repeat 10min
Objective : To introduce the new vocabulary
In this activity teacher shows to the pupils slides about home appliances which is prepared by teacher before the lesson . Teacher shows them each new word and says the name of the picture pupils should repeat after the teacher in this way pupils will learn the new words.
After this activity teacher sticks flashcards which belongs to the theme and asks of the pupils to look to the pictures and teacher gives them one minute to look. After one minute teacher removes all flashcards and asks of them about what they have remembered .
Activity3Play “Movers and speakers”10min
Objective: to develop pupil`s speaking skill
To consolidate the newly introduced vocabulary.
To teach prepositions.
T: Now we will play a game and I`ll devide you into two groups one group will be movers second group will be speakers and each movers group should stick pictures about home appliances to himself/herself. Speakers group should take pictures about prepositions. Speakers should give commands to the movers with prepositions and with saying movers picture . who have this picture should move to this place.
e.g. speaker group: cupboard go to the left
Movers goes to the left .
Game will be continue in this way until speakers will creat their own kitchen. After that they will change their roles. In this way all pupils will speak.
Activity 4 Shouting Picture dictation 8min
Teacher plays the DVD player and the song
Teacher gives instructure to the pupils . they should draw pictures which teacher says them under the song .After this teacher checks their word .

T.: Your home task is homework2 you should read puzzle and guess it . if it is possible write down your own puzzle for your friend .

T. puts marks, thanks pupils for their attention and active participation.
