The XIV Trilateral meeting will be held from May 11 - 15, 2009 at the Intercontinental West Miami Hotel located at 2505 Northwest 87^th Avenue, Miami, Florida, USA, 33172. Tel. [phone] Fax: [phone].

The hotel is located 15 minutes from downtown Miami and many other attractions (shopping, restaurants, museums, etc.) are within a short distance of the hotel.
Room Reservations:

Participants are responsible for making their own hotel reservations by phone at the number listed above or online at the Trilateral website www.trilat.org. Please select the direct reservation link by clicking “Lodging”. A block of rooms has been reserved at Intercontinental West Miami Hotel for the meeting.

Please note that hotel reservations must be made by April 27^th. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that rooms will be available at this hotel and accommodations may have to be made off-site and at a higher rate. In order to make the appropriate reservation, please make sure to refer to the Trilateral meeting when speaking with the hotel.

Hotel Policies

Check in time: 4 p.m.

Check out time: 12 p.m.

Cancellation: If you wish to cancel your reservation, please do so NO LESS THAN 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival, otherwise a one-night stay will be charged to your credit card.

Early departure: If you should depart earlier than the date confirmed at the time of check-in, a one-night stay will be charged to your credit card.

Transportation from airport:

Miami International Airport (MIA) is located 6.5 miles from the hotel. Taxi fare from the airport to the hotel will cost $25.00 USD. There is also a complimentary airport shuttle available which runs every hour between the hotel and MIA. Driving directions from MIA are as follows: when departing, go south on Le June RD/NW 42nd Ave. Then exit on 836 expressway west until you reach NW 87th Ave (north) exit. Take a right (north) and hotel is on the right hand side approximately 1.5 miles.

Participants’ Registration on-site:

Participants will also have to register on-site prior to the Trilateral meeting to pick their name tags/information kits and pay for the Everglades Field trip. On-site registration will take place on Monday, May 11^th (8:00am-6:00pm) and Tuesday, May 12^th (8:00am-12:00pm) at the Intercontinental West Miami Hotel lobby. Please bring exact change in USD (no credit cards).

Dress Code:

Casual attire will be the order of the day. Be sure to check the weather before departure, as the weather in Miami during the spring can be unpredictable. The average daily temperature in Miami during May is 82°F. Before departing, you may wish to visit the weather site for Miami at http://www.wunderground.com/US/FL/Miami.html

Audio-Visual Equipment:

We recommend that participants who are scheduled to make Power Point presentations bring their electronic files to the Trilateral meeting registration desk at the hotel so that they can be tested the day prior to the meeting.

All rooms at the Intercontinental West Miami are equipped with high speed internet.
