animals. They can also colour their pictures on the right side of 
the textbook.

Optional Activity 5 Play “I am a crocodile.”
Objective: to reinforce the new vocabulary
if you have free time, you can have the pupils replay the game 
they played in the previous lesson (in Activity 5) with the new 
animals.
Homework: 
explain to the pupils that at home they should finish colour-
ing the pictures on the right hand page. Ask them to remember 
and say sentences about animals as they did in the class. For ex-
ample: 
I am a zebra. I am big. I am black and white. I’ve got four 
legs. I can run.
