Optional Activity 5b Play It’s winter. It’s cold.
Objective: to consolidate the new vocabulary and structures
offer the strong pupils to complete the description of the 
seasons by adding the previously learnt words: cold, hot, warm, 
cool. e.g. it’s winter. it’s cold. it’s snowy.
Homework:  
explain to the pupils that at home they should draw and col-
our the pictures on the right hand page. Ask them to remember 
the sentences about the weather like “it’s spring. it’s rainy. it’s 
windy.” etc.
