The actuality of the course paper is explained by the profound interest to students’ views of the use of information and communication technology (ICT) within subject teaching and learning.
The topicality of the course work is that the notional role of learning English language by ICT technologies is increasing in lyceums and colleges and it is necessary to define peculiarities of ICT technologies in modern English.
The novelty of the course paper is defined by concrete results of the investigation. Special emphasis is laid on the technologies that are using in different lyceums and colleges in our and other countries. We introduce some modern teaching ways and technologies in developing language competence of students.
The aim of the course paper is to reveal teaching monologue and learning by ICT technologies in schools, colleges, universities and of course in lyceums.
According to this general aim the following particular tasks are put for to define the notion of the ICT technologies for teaching monologue and learning English language.

  • To improve reading and speaking skills with ICT;

  • To enhance the vocabulary by ICT;

  • To develop writing and listening skills with ICT;

  • To produce the development of attitudes and intellectual capabilities;

  • To describe the principles of using ICT technologies;

  • To make an effort and get liberated from the fear of ICT use in order to achieve a thriving and praiseworthy outcome for foreign language learning

The methods of the course paper used in this course paper are as follows: communicative, integrated and traditional.
The practical value of the research is that the material and the results of the given course paper can serve as the material for modern pedagogical technologies. Also this work can be a good manual for teachers in teaching English language with modern technologies.
