instructor-guide — an individual — a resident of the Republic of Uzbekistan, professionally trained to accompany and ensure the safety of tourists and sightseers on tourist routes;
independent tourism — a trip organized by tourists independently without the participation of tour operators and travel agents;
subjects of the tourism sector — legal entities and individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities to provide a complex or part of tourist services, the implementation of related tourism services (works) and the sale of goods to tourists and sightseers;
tour — a trip along a certain route at a specific time, provided by a range of tourist services, including at least two types of tourist services;
tourism — departures (trips) of an individual from a permanent place of residence without engaging in activities related to income from sources in the country (place) of temporary residence;
tourist — an individual visiting a country (place) of temporary residence without engaging in activities related to income from sources in the country (place) of temporary residence for a period of twenty-four hours to twelve consecutive months or at least one night in the country (place) temporary residence;
tourist voucher — a document establishing the right of a tourist to the services included in the tour, and confirming the fact of their payment;
tourist route — a planned route for a tourist, a sightseer according to the list of the main places visited by a tourist, a sightseer during a trip;
tourist services — accommodation, catering, transport, sightseeing and consulting services, as well as services aimed at meeting the needs of tourists and sightseers;
sightseer — an individual traveling for a period of not more than twenty-four hours without spending the night in the country (place) of temporary residence;
a guide — an individual — a resident of the Republic of Uzbekistan, professionally trained to familiarize tourists and sightseers with a specific tourist resource.
