Step 4: Production of the first conditional (15 minutes)

Objective: To involve students in a communicative activity by using first conditional sentences.
Students take turn and go in front of the class. They are asked to draw at random a sheet of paper containing the “if clause” part of a sentence. Then they continue the sentence by giving its main clause. Here are some of the if clauses written in the sheets of paper:
