Problem-based learning
Problem-based learning is organization of training sessions that involves the
creation of problem situations under teacher’s guidance. Students solve the given
problem, discuss, make decisions, and give possible solutions. As a result, students master
professional knowledge, skills, abilities, and creativity.
Portfolio
In accordance with the requirements of educational standards, a special place in the
new assessment system is given to the portfolio. In our school, all students also have a
portfolio. In addition to the main portfolios, I have introduced Subject Portfolio that
includes all completed works (vocabulary, control works, quizzes, tests. At the end of
each term students analyze their achievements and failures, understand their strengths and
weaknesses, and ultimately give positive results.
