1)Why do local people like to read local news?
Because the very local news may touch upon them too. I mean the local people want to stay precocious about what's happening around them. For example, if they read any news about certain crime, they prefer to stay more precocious about the very type of crime or if there is any news about certain festivals or certain competitions, they also want to catch up with all of the latest trends or not to skip an opportunity to do certain things.


2) Why do people like local news more than international news?
Because, international news do not always affect them. For example, I myself do not always follow and observe international news because there are simply no interesting for me. I simply cannot benefit from it or the very news, the very things happening overseas cannot give any determination. for example, with the help of local news I know what's happening in my country and I can take action accordingly. But I cannot do anything for example with the news happening in Palestine these days.


3) How often do people in your country buy newspapers?
Well, not in the amount of that they did in the past because these days we have a lot of alternatives for newspapers like the easy access to the Internet from our cell phones or the TV. Therefore, it's not so frequent these days.


4) What do you think of news on social media?
Well they are convenient. Because they are very quick to get and its convenience comes in another form too. it is more advantages it's more comfortable than newspapers because in social media we can have news accompanied with special videos or pictures or audio messages. But in other sources of news we can get old the text messages conveying the meaning of the news. but in social media it's as I said more convenient to understand the whole process.


5) How do people in your country get news?
Well it depends on what kind of people we are talking about. For example, older-aged individuals mainly get news from TV shows, news programs. Because they like to watch TV rather than using telephone. Because, not all of them can understand how use the telephone properly. But people of middle ages tend to receive news from their telephones which have a direct access to the Internet and to certain websites which send notifications whenever certain news happens.
