Translation of homonyms, synonyms and antonyms

The Masciy Plant (III-II BC) was a famous comedy writer, however his works were based on Greek characters. He also used the method of contamination.

Publius Terentius Afer (190-159BC) was a comedy writer too. He was a slave of the senator Terence Lukin. Thanks to Terence’s gift and beauty, he got an education as a freeman and then received a freedom. He was a very prolific dramatist and translator. Terence translated 108 comedies of Menander. His creative activity was very popular in Europe from the time of Renaissance till the XIX century. Terence was a founder of Realistic drama, Vergil of Roman comedy. He says that the greek language was very soft and delicate. Latin, on the contrary, was very active and aggressive. It was developed in the military sphere of love, beauty. That’s why Roman poetry was poorer, stiffer and more efficient than the Greek one.
