Using the radar, the relative speed of the car in front and the 
distance to it are determined. If we add the speed of the first car to the 
speed of car 2, we find the speed of the first car.

When the first car brakes to the maximum, its deceleration is taken 
to be the maximum value, the deceleration of the second car is found by 
the change in distance, not taking into account the conditional distance 
of 1 m (S0).

Emergency autonomous braking system, AEBS is a system that 
tries to prevent a traffic accident by activating the vehicle’s brake 
control in an emergency, regardless of the driver. 
By scanning the space in front of a moving vehicle and using 
information about its speed and trajectory, the system assesses the 
probability of a collision. In the event of an accident threat, AEBS warns 
the driver of any action using audible and visual signals. If the driver 
does not respond at all and the risk of a collision is still high, the system 
will automatically activate the emergency brake. 
Emergency autonomous braking systems (AEBS) use lidar 
technology to detect the risk of potential collision using radar, camera or 
device. The data obtained from them, together with information about 
the speed and direction of the vehicle, make it possible to determine 
whether a critical situation is developing [2]. If a collision threat is 
detected, the system first tries to notify the driver that any action must be 
taken. To do this, an audible alarm sounds and the corresponding entries 
on the instrument panel light up. Some systems vibrate the steering 
wheel or seats or apply short brakes to attract the driver’s attention. If 
the driver does not take any action and the risk of a collision is high, the 
system will start braking automatically in offline mode [1]. 
If the driver depresses the brake pedal but it does not have enough 
power, the system will take measures to increase the force on the pedals. 
On the other hand, if the driver starts to turn the steering wheel sharply,

depresses the accelerator pedal, turns on the direction indicator, AEBS 
takes it as a detour around the obstacle and turns it off.
