The verbals have tense and voice distinction

Participial constructions.
There are the following participial constructions in English:

1. 
   The objective participial construction.
   
2. 
   The subjective participial construction.
   
3. 
   The nominative participial construction.
   

The objective participial constructions. (complex object)
In this construction the nominal part is expressed by a noun in the common case or a Personal Pronoun in the Objective Case a reflexive pronoun and the verbal part is expressed by PI and PII.
We found the baby sleeping.
They heard Ann playing the piano.
This construction may be found:

1. 
   After verbs denoting sense reception: to see, to hear, to feel, to find.
   

He felt himself clutched by the collar
She heard a dog barking.

2. 
   After verbs of mental activity: to consider, to understand
   

Ann considered herself engaged to John.
The mother understand her son’s life gone to pieces.

3. 
   After verbs donating wish to want, to wish, to desire (PII is generally used)
   

The coach wanted the work only quickly.
The mother wished her daughter married a prince (a blue blood).
He desired a new car bought>

4. 
   After to have, to get in, to have something done, to get something done.
   

I got my watch repaired.
Why don’t you have your hair waved.
The Subjective Participle Construction.
In this construction a nominal part is expressed by a noun in the Common Case or a personal pronoun in the Nominative Case, and the nominal part is the subject of the sentence. The verbal part is generally expressed by PI and forms part of a compound verbal predicate. The subjective Participle Construction is mainly used after verbs of sense perception to see, to hear.
The horse was seen running to the river.
They were heard quarreling.
