1.1.2.GOALS AND OBJECTIVES

While preparing a lesson plan to work with my learners I always try to focus on to have a successful and effective lesson for my learners. In this task we are asked to write our clear cognitive, performance and effective goals of our lesson which we mentioned in task 1.Before, I used to have practical, educational and developing, upbringing aims. After having Section 5.2 I had new notions about aims of the lesson. And I think I know new way to write goals and objectives for every lesson approaching differently. At first I would like to give my notions about these three concepts. Cognitive (what students will know), performance (what students will do), and affective (how students will feel).

As I didn’t know about these 3 goals in my lesson mentioned in hometask1 I wrote: Cognitive: to raise students’ awareness about modern technologies. To make students use new words in their speech.

Performance: to improve students’ vocabulary through speaking. I think I didn’t cover affective goals but I consider my lesson was very effective and helpful for my students.I think I should submit or cover effective as well like to feel free while pronouncing words and while speaking.

A that time, my students learned at least 15 words out of 20 and they were able to use them in their real life. And they felt very free and confident while using these new words. They could understand these words in the new context. I think, without mentioning these new goals I somehow achieved my goals.

In order to have a perfect lesson plan I should write all productive objectives. In my future working process I always try to pay attention to all goals and objectives.
