CONCLUSION 
In the present course paper there has been made an attempt to analyze 
peculiarities of assessing the listening skills.
On the basis of the material collected the following conclusions may be 
inferred:

Listening is one of the main language skills that pupils should acquire 
in the process of learning a foreign language. Moreover, it is not only the assessing 
listening skills but also goal of education as while listening pupils review 
phonological and morphological element of recognizing, vocabulary and grammar, 
memorize the spelling of words, the meaning of words and word combinations. they 
polish their foreign language knowledge.

Listening skills are the cognitive processes that a reader uses in making 
sense of a text. To become a proficient reader language learners should master 
automatic letter and word recognition and the ability to use context as an aid to 
comprehension. 
In course work have been analysed all these methods and the receptions raising 
quality of training to foreign language on the basis of studying of various techniques 
of assessing, used in work with children. Many of receptions can be applied with 
success at assessing children of younger and more advanced age. The resulted 
techniques are interesting from many points of view, simple in application and can 
add essentially existing operating time of teachers foreign (including English) 
language.

of interest according to procedures that are systematic and substantively grounded 
authenticity the degree of correspondence of the characteristics of a given language 
test task to the features of a target language task. 
CEFR
– The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages 
(CEFR) is an international standard for describing language ability. It describes 
language ability on a six-point scale, from A1 for beginners, up to C2 for those who 
have mastered a language.
