The bar chart describe the information about the number of car journeys into the city centre by residents and non residents per day in a decade.

The average journeys per day made by residents in the year 1996 to 1999 is nearly 10000, whereas the non-residents remains inceasing from 5000 in the year 1996 to above 8000 in the year 1999.

With the implication of parking meters in the early 2000, there shows a drastic declined of residents journeys per day to nearly 5000, while the non -residents remains the same to 8000 per day until 2002 as 1999 level.

In 2013 the number of resident and non-resident falls almost similar to nearly 4000 until the year 2004 at the time of Westgate street and park lane were impact for the pedestrians.

There is a slide increased in non-residents to nearly 5000 more than the residents.However both remains more or less .Therefore in this 10 years of journeys into the city centre shows revolution of introducing new policies that eliminates the unnecessary.
