Introduction
When our state became independent, it began to heed every domain, more and more reforms have been done so far, and mostly the attention has been paid to education.
During the early years of Independence it was adopted “The Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Education”, and further “The Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the National Program of Personnel Training System”. The main objective of all reforms done in every field.
Translation is a creative work, translation studies is a general philological science. The field is firmly rooted in foreign language curricula. Translation plays an important role in language learning and teaching, learning and mastering the characteristics of other nations, and promoting our culture abroad. For this reason, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has paid special attention to the teaching of foreign languages and signed a number of new laws to train strong personnel in this area.
“The time has come to create in Uzbekistan a new system of teaching foreign languages, which will become a solid foundation for the future. Since we set ourselves the goal of building a competitive state, from now on, graduates of schools, lyceums, colleges and universities must be fluent in at least two foreign languages. This strict requirement should become the main criterion for the work of the head of each education institution”, emphasizes President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
