Implications of Uzbekistan 

 

According to the UN model of e-government development stages, Uzbekistan is now entering the second 

stage, i.e., development stage. The second phase of the development stage is to provide electronic 

administration service delivery to citizens requiring a variety of petitions online. The third stage of e-

commerce, which allows citizens to conduct financial transactions with the government electronically, 

enables the payment of taxes online. 

In accordance with the e-government development stage, the Uzbekistan government has a plan to build 

a LMIS in cooperation with the Ministry of Employment and Labour Relations, The Ministry for 

Development of Information Technologies and Communications, and the MoF (Ministry of Finance) as a 

multi-Ministry project, and in cooperation with the international organization such as ILO and/or World 

bank.
