CONCLUSION ON CHAPTER II
The congress was attended by more than 250 orientalists, historians, archeologists, art historians, specialists from specialized scientific institutions and representatives of local and foreign media from 40 countries. Among them were 9 academicians, 63 doctors of sciences, 66 professors, 28 associate professors, 28 candidates of sciences and 40 heads of museums, libraries and scientific organizations. About 100 reports were presented at the conference. Such large-scale lectures on the study of the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan have become a bright event in the scientific and social life of our country.
Within the framework of the Congress, a photo exhibition "300 great masterpieces of Uzbekistan", an exhibition of Rishtan ceramics, a virtual tour of the monuments of Shakhrisabz and Samarkand - a video art exhibition "3D technology in modern science", J. Usmanov's "Alisher Navoi Poetry ”photo exhibition, end of archeologist, researcher of Central Asian culture Leon Semyonovich Barshevsky - photo exhibitions“ History of Uzbekistan in photos Cartography of Central Asia: between science and geopolitics ”, Uzbekistan There will be an exhibition of the numismatic package of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan and many other events.
The presentation of the facsimile edition of the "Book of Inactive Stars" by the great ruler and scholar Mirzo Ulugbek was also a sensation in Congress. This unique book, prepared by the Austrian publishing house Mueller & Shindler and the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Promotion of Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan, has amazed scholars and the public. This manuscript is in the National Library of France. This is the seventh facsimile edition of our glorious ancient manuscripts.

The culture of Uzbekistan has a rich history, closely linked with the centuries-old traditions and way of life of the peoples of Central Asia. Located at the crossroads of the Great Silk Road, Uzbekistan is home to many architectural monuments, ancient castles and palaces, mysterious and unique natural monuments and folklore elements, many of which are now protected by UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Today, 4 architectural complexes are included in the Representative List of UNESCO World Heritage Sites - Ichan-Kala Museum-Reserve in Khiva (1990), Bukhara Historical Center (1993), Samarkand Historical Center "Samarkand - Crossroads of Cultures" (2001), the historical center of Shakhrisabz, as well as Ugam-Chatkal National Park (2016) and 9 intangible heritage sites.
Since Uzbekistan's independence, the country has paid great attention not only to the preservation of cultural heritage through the restoration of monuments, but also to the strengthening of national identity and recognition in world culture. In independent Uzbekistan, these unique works of ancient architects have a special status as objects of invaluable cultural heritage, and they under special protection of the state.
