Data collected from the subjects with the help of Pre-test
Pre –test results of Group 315
Pre-test were given to the group to focus on further tasks for writing poem lessons. The tasks of pre-test was to identify whether they have the practice or experience of writing poems, knowledge of writing strategies and poetry genres. The investigator used asking optional question. After getting students’ responses she has marked the every students in accordance above mentioned assessment criteria (Table 4 ).

The results showed that the students of the three year have less experience in creative and thinking tasks. They got used to multiple- choice tests. That’s why I tried to change form of the tasks and tried to teach them developing their critical thinking and writing poem skills.
So that it became easier to compare the pre-results and post test results, the researcher first summed up the mean, the average numerical value of pre-test

The group 315 consisted of 12 pupils and the added up score is . In that case, mean is:

Pre-test frequency distribution allowed the investigator see how many subjects performed in the same way. The lowest score was 45, and the highest one was 75. Each 2 students from 6 students got 45, 50, 75 and one student took 55 and also, next one 60. 4 students got 70. The most frequent score is 70.
Mode = 70
As shown in the Table 4, the value at the center of the range of the set is 60.
Median = (75+45):2=60
In those measurements, the investigator represented group’s behavior or performances in numbers according to the aspects of central tendency.
The researcher also focused on dispersion which shows the performances of individuals.
The range in the set is 31 (the lowest score was subtracted from the highest score and plus 1. The range = (75-45)+1= 31
The next aspect of dispersion is standard deviation (SD) which shows the average of differences of all scores from the mean (Table 6).
