Abstract

The qualification paper is devoted to teaching collaborative writing poems in EFL classes. Motivating and teaching collaborative writing poems for EFL students has value that extend efficiently concerned with developing literacy competency. Therefore, it focuses on analyzing the techniques and methods of motivating students, teaching writing in the first stages and determine the best, useful ones.

The purpose of this thesis is to recommend more appropriate ways and means of motivating student to write poems and improve their critical thinking by means of writing so EFL students acquire the knowledge of writing poem without great difficulties and enlarge their vocabulary.

The participators of the study were group of learners at the intermediate level and non-native speakers. In order to suggest the useful methods she carried out pre- writing activities related to poetry. Then, the researcher made a list of not acquired genres of poem. She conducted four lessons on collaborative writing poems for students immersing to this sphere, have capacity to improve their drawbacks in writing poems with the helping of new methods. The lessons were conducted at university of world languages university I faculty, 315-group. The duration of conducting the lessons she provided a lot of activities, as she has finished conducting lessons, she implemented the final test on the basis of poetry genres and compared them for verifying the efficiency of methods.

The theory was proving that the researcher used methods of motivating and teaching EFL students to write poems revealed effectively in teaching process.

To conclude, the research supported EFL students to gain knowledge of writing poems through the productive teaching methods and to make EFL class teachers work more effortless by using them into use.
