2.2 The Procedure

2.2.1 Variables

When the researcher was conducting, she could differentiate the following variables. And also she followed, was aware of theories and explored practically that researchers in teaching and learning claim that there



are five variables in statistical studies of language teaching and learning.

  1. The Dependent variable is the main variable, the central focus of the study, the variables which the other variables may impact. In current, the variable of this qualification paper is teaching writing poems collaborative.

2. The Independent variable are the factors influencing the selection of tasks for EFL learners, i.e. suitable writing tasks. It is manipulated in order to see what influence or effect it may have on the dependent variable. To demonstrate, the independent variable of the study was to differentiate the fact that what effect the questionnaire may have on improvement of the students’ writing skills; in what way the questionnaire may be the tool for students to appear intention and inspiration on writing poems.
