Basic concepts of student’s training and production practice
1. The objective of industrial (tourism) practice is further consolidation of the knowledge acquired in higher education institutions during the internships at enterprises working in the tourism sector (travel agency, hotel, restaurant), where students acquire practical skills and learn about the activities of these enterprises and their communication system. In addition, students will have the opportunity to collect the necessary statistical, managerial, marketing and financial data from the tourism enterprise to prepare the practical part of the thesis.
2. Training and production practice in the field of “Tourism management” is the practice of acquiring professional skills and professional experience. Internships take place at production enterprises that have an agreement with the university.
3. The internship is conducted in the following forms:
- the form of the auditorium consists of meetings on organizational issues of the internship, where students get acquainted with the internship plan, safety rules, rights and duties of students, internship reporting forms, receive assignments for the internship period and preparation and execution of an internship report at the end of the practice;
- the form of production (acquaintance of the audience with the activities of the enterprise in the field of tourism in a particular area, the study of the organizational structure, management and office work of the company);
- An independent form of practice (preparation of an internship report, i.e. collection, analysis of data of the organizational structure of the enterprise, its main areas of activities, the presented tourist products of the company and reflection of the data in the internship report).
