centre, which is not significantly different from the results of other centres, which report 
a percentage of about 70%. Balancing the dose of ionizing radiation is a priority of 
modern radiation diagnostics; many authors emphasize the role of radiation in 
increasing the risk of tumor development in later childhood. 
The performance of imaging diagnostics in neonates has unique features; therefore, the 
performance of imaging studies in such patients should be tailored to their needs [ 7 ]. 
Conclusions
: In the presence of respiratory disorders, chest radiological examination 
plays a significant role in the diagnosis of neonates. Pneumonitis was the most common 
radiological symptom in the examined neonates with respiratory disorders.According to 
the analysis of chest radiographs obtained in the study group, both lung tissues were 
most frequently involved in the pathology. 
Respiratory disorders may have causes other than those associated with the respiratory 
system.
