Thus, the market development of Ukraine in 2014-2019 was hampered by socio-
economic imbalances, which led to a deterioration in effective demand, budget deficits 
and the banking crisis. Reform programs developed with the assistance of the World 
Bank and the IMF, including the abandonment of currency regulation, tax 
consolidation, improved public investment management, personalization of social 
support, simplification of business conditions, introduction of tax crisis management 
methods and anti-corruption measures, have stabilized the situation to some extent. 
Despite the deindustrialization and dominance of the agro-industrial sector in the 
Ukrainian economy, the incorporation of the WTO's fundamental rules has made it 
possible to expand the domestic market for a number of service sectors. Institutional 
factors influencing the efficiency of the market are not used effectively enough, in 
particular, the low level of state support for investment activity is confirmed by 
Ukraine's weak position in the Doing Business ranking. Instead, Ukraine's accession to 
the UN program “Sustainable Development Goals 2016-2030” and a certain 
transformation of the institutional framework of social security, aimed at overcoming 
poverty and increasing incomes, led to a trend of moderate growth of the social security 
system. Thus, the domestic market of Ukraine began to emerge from the crisis, there 
were trends in GDP growth and industrial production.
