Listening and understanding fully and understanding main idea of certain phrases and most frequently used words in utterances when listened once, as well as clearly pronounced, not lengthy, in a standard language of authentic discourses (weather forecast, TV/radio programme timetables, train/airport announcements) and recognizing information relevant to himself, when played more than once; predicting the content of oral text by the beginning of a message and select main idea of a listened text; ignoring unfamiliar language material, which is not important for understanding; defining topic of a text, selecting main facts in a text, omitting secondary ones; elective understanding of necessary information in messages of pragmatic nature based on guessing, context.
