An East Dubuque, Ill., company received state incentives today to build a new corporate facility in Dubuque, a project expected to create nearly 50 jobs.
Rockfarm Holdings intends to build a new corporate facility in Dubuque Technology Park, according to a press release from Iowa Economic Development Authority. The company offers transportation management services.
The release said the company has "exhausted the available office space" at its East Dubuque location, prompting the Dubuque project.
The state today awarded the company $336,600 in direct financial assistance as well as tax benefits for this $2.1 million investment, the release states. It is expected to create 48 jobs.
The incentives will be provided under the state's High-Quality Jobs Program. The qualifying wage for those jobs is $19.73 per hour.
