INTRODUCTION (abstract of the dissertation)


The aims of the research is to improve the scientific and methodological base of an individual approach to pupils in fine arts lessons.
The tasks of the research are: analysis of the philosophical, pedagogical and psychological possibilities of an
individual approach to pupils in fine arts lessons; improvement of mechanisms for increasing the efficiency of individual work
with pupils in fine arts lessons; create a state of “success situation” for pupils in visual arts lessons through an individualized approach and determine its importance in developing skills and interests in the field of visual arts; to develop scientific and practical recommendations for improving the content and form, means and methods of teaching, which pupils must master in the field of fine arts, to increase their effectiveness.
The object of the research: the process of creating scientific and methodological aspects of an individual
approach to pupils in fine arts lessons.
The scientific novelty of the study is in the following: the pedagogical possibilities of an individual approach to pupils in fine arts
lessons have been expanded on the basis of creating a state of “Situations of Success” in pupils through the full implementation of educational material; the methodology of an individual approach to pupils based on the perception
of the phenomenon of reality, decorative and constructive work, drawing from life, compositional activity, ensuring the harmony of criteria in form and content has been improved; the mechanisms of an individual approach to pupils in fine arts lessons have been improved on the basis of a mutual synthesis of developmental qualities and the development of the principles “Sincere communication”, “Artist’s handwriting”, reflexivity and “Master-learner”; the forms of independent study of educational material, teaching pupils to
independent work, directing them to creative searches, to independent thinking through an individual approach have been improved.
