❓When do you need to concentrate the most?

I really need to focus in all kinds of situations, but I believe the two most important times are when I’m driving and when I’m taking an exam. While behind the wheel, if I don’t fix my attention on the road, I’ll run the risk of getting into an accident. And on examinations, such as this one, deep concentration will help me to perform better.

❓When is concentrating hard for you?

Being tired or not feeling a hundred percent can have an influence on my level of concentration. In a worsened physical state, it is much harder to force myself to focus on something. Also, when I’m worried, my mind can become scattered as it’s harder to dismiss any distractions coming my way.

❓What helps you concentrate more?

To make myself concentrate better, I like to remove things that may distract me. For instance, during my reading time, I actually turn off my smartphone and keep my laptop hidden. I also like to set some short-term aims with time restrictions. This helps me to be more mindful about what I’m doing, which often allows me to accomplish more.

❓ Is it easy for you to do two or more things at the same time?

I think that this depends on the complexity or importance of the activity. For simple routine tasks around the home, it’s not a problem. As a matter of fact, I prefer doing it as it can save time. But for major responsibilities, such as big work assignments, unitasking is the way for me to go. I like to devote my full attention by doing one thing at a time to the things that matter the most to me.

❓What is your favorite animal?

I love all sorts of animals, so it’s difficult to say which one is my favorite. That said, I was amazed by a fairly small but fearless creature called a honey badger, which lives in warm climates. This animal, that I believe normally weighs only between 5 to 10 kilos, seemingly isn’t afraid of anything. To give you an idea, it’ll take on deadly snakes twice its size. Even lions know better not to mess with this fearless animal.

❓Have you ever had a pet before?

Yes, I’ve had a couple of pets in my life so far. I remember the exact moment when I got my first one. I was watching my favorite cartoon, while sitting by the television, and then my parents came in with a special surprise. It was a cute kitten named Stripes, who deserved that name because of all of the colorful lines on its fur.

❓Would you like to have a pet in the future?

There is no doubt in my mind that I will have more pets in the future. Probably within about five years, I will have finished all of my studies, and then I hope to get a nice job and a decent sized home. Once that all happens, no home will be complete without a lovely family and, of course, one or two adorable pets.

❓What animal is famous in your country?

Well, it is dogs and cats, perhaps. In the countryside, each household typically has a dog to watch their house as dogs usually bark when they see strangers. In the cities, many people, especially the young, do not hesitate to spend money on buying a cat and take care of them like babies.
