“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.”
Albert Einstein
Annotation.
In today’s world, teaching has different faces and a teacher has to carry out the
part being an external parent, counsellor, mentor and innovator. being educator demands broad
knowledge of subject matter, curriculum, enthusiasm, a love of learning and classroom management
techniques in the lives of young people. for this purpose, every teacher should be master of their
subject matter, creative and innovative. This article discusses the innovative methods which can be
handful for educators in classroom management.
Key words:
innovative teaching, classroom management, learning
0The term of innovation is related to change and improvement of both the students and teachers
(Sadavel, Joseph, Ragam, & Narayan, 2017) When we think innovation nowadays, we usually
think of technology. Of course, it plays great role in classroom management and to involve
pupils to the lesson. for instance, in nursery and elementary schools, technology is made use
of to implement teaching methods. Students are shown pictures, shapes, and other images on
computer. When they observe, they usually develop interest and feel motivated towards learning.
d. kalyani stated in “Innovative teaching and learning”(Journal of applied and advanced research
2018) innovative teaching means creativity and novelty of the teacher which changes the style of
method of teaching. Innovative teaching is necessary for the present and future of education to
help students to reach their full potential.
In addition to this, there are many important points in conducting modern and innovative
lesson.
first of all, an effective and innovative teacher comes to class prepared to teach. As James
Strong writes in his influential book Qualities of Effective Teachers “organizing time and
preparing materials in advance have been noted the most important aspect of teaching”. I believe
that if the teacher is punctual and well-prepared for the lesson, she/he can achieve his/her goal in
the lesson .besides these, k. Rajasekaran (Journal of applied and advanced research 2018) points
out that if teacher loves his/her work, it keeps them relaxed and give them room to experiment
new ideas. As for me, if we truly love our job, we can give our best. We shall be more creative
and inspired when we are not stressed. I view that asking open–ended questions can create
innovative learning spaces. As we know, open-ended questions are questions without textbook
answers. When teachers ask this kind of questions, there can be various answers and points of
views. from my own experience I can say that his method can lead to strong collaboration,
exciting conversations, new ideas as well as improve speaking skill. besides these, mind maps
can be used by teachers to explain concepts in an innovative way. As an English teacher, I agree
to this idea as it is to learn and remember more effectively by using the full range of visual and
sensory tools. Pictures, music, colours, even touch and smell play a part in our armony will help
to recollect information for a long time. Role Play is also a great way to develop interpersonal
skills. This method helps to make the lesson more interesting and understandable. furthermore,
building rapport with pupils is very vital in conducting lesson. If the teacher starts to understand
his/her pupils there will be a good relationship between them. Therefore, the pupils’ need for
positive relationships with teachers remains required until the last grade. And also, student –
teacher relationship plays a great role in helping lessen the chance of bad outcomes: dropping
out of school.(Miller,2007)
It is known that, the method of cLIL(content and language integrated learning)is an approach
for learning content through an additional language, thus teaching both the subject and the
language. It very crucial to teach pupils both the language and the content in a developed
century. Moreover, focusing on STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) is important

for educators to prepare students future skills they need to succeed later in life.
To sum up, there are many teaching methods, but these are the most common. If the teacher
finds the best and most effective teaching method for a particular group of pupils, they are likely
to learn more quickly and be more engaged. In addition, using a variety of teaching methods will
keep students from being bored, and help them encounter the information in new and exciting
ways.
