Particles in English also make homonyms with other word groups. In particular, in modern English, 
almost all particles are homonyms with other word groups, especially with prepositions and 
conjunctions. Very few particles are not homonyms. For example 
else, merely, barely, solely.
But most of them form homonyms with the following: 
as adverb: exactly, simply, too, never, still, just, yet, right
; 
as adjective: even, right, just, only, still;
as pronouns: all, either; as 
verb: still; as conjunctions: 
but; as preposition: but
