Abstract 
Gender research conducted in the last decades of the twentieth century and the 
first decade of the twenty-first century is one of the new fields of linguistics. In this 
article, we have tried to make a comparative analysis of advertising texts in French 
magazines in terms of reflecting the impact of the gender factor on them. In this 
article, in addition to gender characteristics, we have also touched on a number of 
linguistic categories because they are closely related to each other. 
On the one hand, linguistic research methods allow to determine the gender 
strategy of text composition, on the other hand, the study of the gender factor in 
language helps to understand different linguistic units - grammar, lexicon, word 
formation, syntax.
