Abstract:
The human body is an ideal environment for the
inhabitation of pathogenic microorganisms that can affect
almost any organ or system, causing a number of diseases
and disorders. Some types of parasites in the human body,
do not cause any special changes, but there are also those
that can adversely affect the health of the "master", it causes
the development of some serious diseases.
Key words:
helminthiases, localization, strongyloidiasis, immunoglobulin,
orthopedic pathology.
The term "parasites" means living organisms of different
species that have the ability to settle in the human body, to
penetrate into the tissues of internal organs, to feed on cells,
juices, digested food, can penetrate into any part of our
body, causing a number of diseases and disorders.
They can live in the body for a long time or throughout
the life of a person. Some types of parasites in the human
body, do not cause any special changes, but there are also
American Journal of Science
those that can adversely affect the health of the "owner",
cause some serious illnesses.
The main groups of parasites are the simplest ones
(Lamblia, Trichomonas, amoeba, toxoplasma), worms, fungi.
Bacteria, viruses are separate groups.
In connection with the growth of tourism, pollution of
water and food, as well as the excessive use of chemicals
and antibiotics, the Glistis and a huge number of other
parasites (amoebas, Trichomonas) are much more common
in the population today. The statistics of the World Health
Organization state that about 5 billion people around the
world are suffering from parasitic diseases. At the same
time, every fifth inhabitant is stricken in Uzbekistan. And
with each year their figure increases. And for today there is
already a lot of information about the worms themselves,
their effect on the human body, on the ways of their
treatment. It's about all this that I want to talk about.
Worms or helminthes lead to the appearance in the human
body of a number of diseases called helminthiases.
Each person's growth and development of worms
occurs in different ways. Located in the human body, they
feed on blood and tissue juices, as well as eat the nutrients
of the intestine. Almost all parasites are "gourmands", which
are loved by all: vitamins, trace elements, hormones,
protein-carbohydrate food, sugar, etc. But the worst is
another. The fact is that during nutrition, worms release
poison (products of their vital activity). It is this poison that
penetrates the blood, after which it spreads to all organs and
tissues of the body. And it is this poison that negatively
affects the human nervous system, as well as other internal
organs, which are very important for human life [1]
According to the data of the world medical literature,
American Journal of Science
helminths, the last 15-20 years are more often localized not
in the gastrointestinal tract, but in vital organs - the brain,
heart, lungs, liver, kidneys.Worms are not considered to be
simple parasites. The whole point is that they are able to
exist in the human body for a long time, while not giving any
signs of their presence. Quite often people for many years do
not even suspect the presence in their bodies of these
individuals.
The prevalence of various helminthiases among some
categories of the population is incredibly high: among
children - pinworms, among hunters - trichinosis, in
fishermen and fish lovers - diphyllobothriasis (ribbon).
Helminthiases are among the most widespread human
diseases. These are chronic parasitic diseases and are
caused by parasitic worm-helminths and their larvae.
Helminths can settle in all organs and tissues of the human
body. There is an opinion that they live only in the
intestines. It was not there. The greatest number really liked
the different parts of the intestine, but different types of
helminths can live in the liver, bile ducts, lungs, heart,
bones, tissues, in the lymphatic system. In the human body,
several helminth species can parasitize at once, and about
300 of them have been identified and the situation in recent
years is only aggravated. Our feet daily withstand a colossal
American Journal of Science
load - they not only have to carry the weight of the human
body, but also provide a stable position when walking on
heels, trying to catch up with a leaving bus or on the icy
surface. It is not surprising that almost every second person
after 30 years experiences pain and numbness in the legs at
the end of the day's work, and the number of patients who
are forced to suffer pain in the feet when walking and at rest
increases in direct proportion to their age [2].
What common signs of worms in humans?
One of the brightest symptoms, signs of the presence
of worms in humans is - a sharp weight loss, pale skin
(anemia), gaunt form, and itching in the anus. But these are
only the most obvious and popular signs, known to all who
are under massive infection. In addition, parasitic diseases
can manifest themselves with frequent colds, tonsillitis,
sinusitis, bronchitis and other diseases. If the helminths are
localized in the intestine, and not in the tissues and organs
of the body, then the main signs of the presence of worms in
humans are violations of the functions of the gastrointestinal
tract:
-continuous diarrhea;
-chronic constipation;
- sickness or periodic vomiting;
-boli in the abdomen, especially near the navel;
-boles in the right hypochondrium;
-meteorism (bloating).
At children at pinworms the appetite worsens, there is
a vomiting, a nausea or salivation, an aversion to nutrition,
especially in the morning. Most complain of paroxysmal pain
in the abdomen, more often in the near-pustular region.
There is unstable stool. Constipation - Because of its shape
and large size, worms can block individual organs.
Abundant worm infection can close the bile and intestinal
ducts, which leads to rare and difficult feces. Diarrhea
(diarrhea) -The range of parasites produce hormone-like
substances, leading to frequent watery excrement. Thus,
diarrhea is one of the possible manifestations of the
American Journal of Science
presence of parasites, and not only as a protective reaction
of the body or from malnutrition. Gases and bloating
(flatulence): Constant swelling of the abdominal organs is
often a sign of the presence of parasites.Allergic reactions:
The products of the life of worms desensitize the body and
cause the proteins similar to them to be perceived as
allergens, which is manifested by allergic reactions like local
urticaria, itching of the skin, and general - allergic rhinitis,
dry cough, bronchial asthma. In children during routine
vaccinations with worms, there are often various post-
vaccination toxic-allergic reactions. Problem Skin: Worms
can cause the presence of blackheads, pimples, seborrhea,
rough skin, various spots, early wrinkles on the face, early
baldness, papillomas, cracks on the heels, detachment and
breaking of the nails - all this shows that the
gastrointestinal tract is infected. Skin ulcers, tumors,
papillomas and dermatitis can result from the presence of
protozoa [3].
Anemia: Many parasites feed on blood, which leads to
the development of iron deficiency anemia.
Decrease or increase in body weight: Less is
understandable: digestion is impaired, appetite is reduced,
there is an "internal consumer" of food. The feeling of hunger
arises with a sharp drop in blood sugar, which is also due to
the gluttony of the worms, and because of the toxic effects
on metabolism. Obesity against the background of defeat by
ribbon worms is not just excess weight, but a protective
reaction of the organism from poisoning by the products of
vital activity of parasites. Therefore, to fight excess weight is
necessary only after a course of de-worming! Violations in
the work of the psyche are a negative impact on the nervous
system of children and adults. This is manifested by
headache, dizziness combined with nausea. The toxins that
secrete parasites have a harmful effect on the nervous
system, causing a person to have high irritability,
nervousness, frequent depression, panic attacks and other
disorders. Especially it is expressed in children, they can
American Journal of Science
become more capricious, irritable, because of absent-
mindedness and inattention, children may lag behind in
studies. Sleep disorders, there may be insomnia, cries at
night (more often in children), nightmares.Frequent
awakenings in the middle of the night, especially between 2
and 3 o'clock in the morning, can also result from attempts
by the body to get rid of toxic substances through the liver.
In accordance with our biorhythms during these hours the
liver is especially active.Sleep disturbances can also be
triggered by the nightly release of worms through the anus,
which leads to unpleasant painful sensations and itching.
One of the causes of hemorrhoids - the development of
parasites (pinworms) under the mucosa of the rectum.
Chronic fatigue syndrome: Symptoms of chronic fatigue
include weakness, flu-like symptoms, apathy, depression,
decreased concentration and poor memory. These physical,
mental and emotional symptoms occur when nutrients are
deficient due to poor absorption of proteins, carbohydrates,
fats, vitamins and minerals (even with very good nutrition)
and are aggravated by constant poisoning of the
body. Oncological diseases: Chronic poisoning of the body,
failure in the immune system, direct traumatic effect on
organs and tissues, long-lasting inflammation and
nutritional deficiencies - this is more than enough to
provoke various tumors! Long-term presence of a parasite in
the body causes a significant decrease in immunity and the
degeneration of epithelial cells into cancer cells.
Inflammation of the respiratory tract: The glistis moves
through the body, including the respiratory tract. Cough,
fever, sputum, coryza - these are the real symptoms of the
presence of worms. Pneumonia can be a manifestation of
ascariasis or strongyloidiasis. Asthma is often a sign of
ascariasis. Grinding of teeth in a dream (bruxism): These
symptoms are especially noticeable in sleeping children.
Bruxism can be a response of the nervous system to
poisoning and irritation. Immune disorders: Parasites
weaken the immune system, reducing the production of
American Journal of Science
protective immunoglobulins and provoking allergic reactions.
Opens the way for penetration into the body of
infections, in the intestines - dysbiosis. And so, when there
are such symptoms in the body as:Chronic fatigue,
irritability and anxiety, hyperactivity in children, anemia,
brittle nails and hair, problem skin, headaches, appetite
disorders, decreased immunity - these can be signals of
current parasitosis [4].The reasons for the appearance of
pain in the foot are many, the foot can ache with walking, at
rest, pain can be aggravated by changing weather, prolonged
walking, being diffuse, spilled or local. It is only the doctor
who can determine the cause of their appearance and
prescribe the treatment, but if you want to avoid long-term
treatment, you should take care of your feet and not ignore
the first symptoms of developing diseases.
Pain in the foot can occur with the following conditions:
1. Muscle overexertion and lack of calcium - pain in the foot,
arising only with prolonged walking, wearing uncomfortable
shoes or other load, spilled, diffuse, aching, may indicate a
lack of calcium in the body and developing osteoporosis, in
which the bones become brittle and can not stand increasing
American Journal of Science
2. Flattening - changing the shape of the foot and losing its
damping properties causes the appearance of pain during
walking, running or prolonged standing on the legs. Most
patients who have complained of weight and leg pain after a
day's work suffer from acquired flat feet. It occurs as a result
of long loads on the muscles and ligaments of the foot, which
becomes wider and already hardly withstands the weight of
the patient's body. Flat feet are characterized by the
appearance of pain when wearing uncomfortable shoes or as
a result of long loads. The patient experiences heaviness in
the legs, pain in the feet and ankles, which can lead to a
spasm [5].
Among orthopedic pathology, flat feet are observed in 26.4%
American Journal of Science
of cases, and among the deformities of the feet it occupies
the first place, amounting to 81.5%. Pain in the lower
extremities, rapid fatigue, development of later deforming
arthrosis of the foot joints often lead to a decrease in the
ability to work and even disability, and young people
sometimes become unsuitable for military service.
Low parental anxiety about the existing flat feet in their
child leads to progression with age of this disease. Treatment
of flat feet in childhood is carried out mainly by conservative
methods in outpatient settings, while surgical interventions
are relatively rare and are used only in the most severe
biomechanical disorders. Despite all the variety of
developments in the field of conservative treatment of flat
feet, its effectiveness without orthopedic footwear is not very
high.
