Chapter 10: Leading Positive Change 
When a company needs both managers and leaders, it cannot exist in the recent century. People must 
have the capacity to both guide changes and maintain stability, develop a vision and accomplish 
objectives, violate the norms, and pay attention to compliance to be effective. The most typical way

• That may be discerned from their conduct and demeanor.

easurable Goals
• That should be accurately assessed and measured to see 
how far they've come.
A
ligned Goals
• That are consistent with the group's or the individual's 
overall objectives.
R
ealistic Goals
• Based on one's present mentality, motivation level, 
timescale, talents, and abilities.
T
ime-bound Goals
• Setting a timetable for accomplishing objectives. There is 
no value in goals that have no endpoint.

bests and greatest assets.

The right moment to educate people on the necessity of change comes after 
developing a favorable environment. Benchmarking, the process of 
comparing performance level to the highest quality level, may help establish 
a climate conducive to change. Secondly, some employees might be inspired 
to modify their work environment if a new language is utilized for certain 
changes. Finally, the corporation might announce symbolic events to signal a 
new direction.

company's future in an inspiring and intriguing manner to the company's
