Thanks to the advents in the field of technology, namely the Internet, the 
interaction between people has certainly changed in some respects. The effects 
of this could be observed in forming friendship and education sphere, with this 
development being both positive and negative on an overall picture.
One type of relationship that has witnessed an alteration as a result of 
technology has to do with friendship. In the past, people used to strike it up a in 
certain social occasions, like parties, meetings and entertainment places. Yet, 
the arrival of the Internet has unfolded the possibility of this via the virtual world, 
allowing net-users to make acquaintances with a click of button on social 
websites, Facebook and Instagram included. Another affected relationship 
seems to be the one between teachers and students. That is, while traditional 
classes were the only option of conducting lessons a few years ago, educators 
now enjoy offering their courses on online platforms, which is also an advantage 
to the students due in large part to be economic with time and money.
This development presents its own benefits and drawbacks. On the one hand, 
people, especially introvert and shy ones, can have a chance to make friends 
quite easily. In face-to-face communication, such individuals find it difficult to 
have and strike a conversation with unfamiliar people, who could later be their 
friends. But via online interactions, this is much less painful. Having said that, it 
is isolation that is attributable to the way people interact via the net. In both 
social and educational contexts, people stay at home just staring at computers 
or smartphones, being far away from real-life interactions. Not only may this 
cause the development of poor communication skills, particularly on the young, 
but it also causes stress and depression derived from the lack of social life.
To sum up, technology may have resulted in significant changes in the way 
people become friends and receive education. This online interaction could 
allow introvert individuals to form friendship relatively easier, while isolation is 
what makes it an undesirable development.
