THE MAIN ADVANTAGES OF USING MINERAL FERTILIZERS

In the conditions of Karakalpakstan it is necessary to use agro ores, manure 
and other organic fertilizers. 
Fertilizer is the main factor of complex elements which improves plant 
nutrition and soil productivity. Every year farmers use local fertilizers, agro ores, 
manure, mineral fertilizers – ammonium nitrate, super phosphate in sowing fields 
[1]. 
If we add phosphor powder to organic fertilizer the amount of phosphor 
increases, its microbiological processes and the process of humification fasten in 
manure, and it creates convenient condition to assimilate ammonium nitrogen by 
microorganisms in the period of storage [2].

), carbon (C), hydrogen (H), potassium (K), magnesium (Mg), 
sodium (Na), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), Zinc (Zn), copper (Cu), molybdenum 
(Mo), boron (B), cobalt (Co) and other chemical elements are of similar 
importance to the plant as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Microelements 
boron (B), bromine (Vr), iodine (I), cobalt (Co), manganese (Mn), copper (Cu), 
molybdenum (Mo), fluorine (F), zinc (Zn), nickel (Ni) are in a small amount in the 
soil and perform important physiological processes during the growth and 
development of the plant. These elements should be applied to cotton and other 
agricultural crops by mixing local organic agro-ores and mineral fertilizers with a 
certain norm and dose. Each of chemical elements in the structure of these

fertilizers improves the quality of the product, along with the accumulation of high 
yields for cotton and other cultural and technical crops. It protects from all kinds of 
diseases, and the plant is resistant to water and adverse weather conditions. By 
using nitrogen containing fertilizers to cotton and other plants, nitrogen creates 
albuminous elements and important combinations to living. Phosphorus, which is 
present in both the protoplasm and the protein, increases the amount of sugar and 
starch in plants, and also makes the plant resistant to cold and productive. 
Potassium helps to create carbohydrate and starch in plants, providing resistance 
for all kinds of diseases. 
If cotton and other agricultural crops are not able to assimilate the above 
important elements under normal conditions, the leaves will not develop. The 
leaves turn brownish-blue. The period of flourishing and productivity lasts long. 
Using 0.5-1 kg of boron (B), 150-200 g of molybdenum (Mo) and 3-5 kg of 
manganese (Mn) per hectare increased the yield of cotton by 3-5 centners per 
hectare.
