The Budget has shown interest in launching the second edition of the worldwide 
'Incredible India' campaign. 
Reacting to the announcement, Ritesh Agarwal, Founder and CEO of OYO, said 
he is positive that the new measures will generate more business for the sector. ''The 
launch of the Incredible India 2.0 campaign will result in greater tourist interest and 
inflow from overseas, creating a huge demand and opportunity for the Indian 
hospitality industry," he expressed. The special tourism zones will also give "excellent 
fillip to domestic tourism," he added. 
North India refers to the set of states located on the non-peninsular region of the 
republic of India. It includes Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Uttaranchal, 
Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. North India has been a bystander of 
some of the major historical and cultural development in India over the past 3500 years.
This region witnessed the evolution of Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. The 
sacred rivers Ganga, Brahmaputra and Yamuna along with numerous other rivers 
originate from the North. The Himalayas stretching from Himachal Pradesh to 
Arunachal Pradesh cut India off from the rest of Asia and safeguard the country. 
Another dominant geographical feature of Northern India is the vast Indo Gangetic 
plain.
North India has been the historical center of many great Empires including the 
Mauryas, Guptas, Mughals and the Indian Empires under British Rule. The region has 
witnessed some of the biggest battles fought on Indian land. Outstanding monuments 
mark different places of North India, reminding us of the many empires that have ruled 
this country. 
The various tourist attractions in this region broadly include Konark temples, 
Sundarbans, Bodh Gaya The east zone of India is composed of states like Orissa, West 
Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura, 
Manipur, Mizoram and Meghalaya. The natural beauty ranges from the snow capped 
mountains of Arunachal Pradesh to Assam’s Brahmaputra and the Barak river valleys; 
from the hilly terrain of Meghalaya, full of dense forests to the mountainous state of

Nagaland; from the fertile plateaus of Orissa to the loamy plains of West Bengal., 
Rajgir, etc. 
According to the "Strategy for the Further Development of the Republic of 
Uzbekistan" development of the economic spheres are among the priorities. Taking 
into account special features of Uzbekistan 7 free economic zones have been created 
and 7 more will be created. Our government adopted laws to support creation of free 
economic zones which includes tax preferences, custom preferences and optimized 
administrative process for foreign and domestic investors. Based on the actuality of the 
above mentioned this abstract considers free economic zones in Uzbekistan. 
International experience shows that if free economic zones are created in suitable 
region and have tax, custom preferences they will continue their activities by raising 
their share in GDP.
We may say that Uzbekistan has enough opportunity and favorable conditions 
for free economic zones. As well as according to the strategic development (2017-
2021) of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan there will be many free touristic 
zones in touristic regions Bukhara, Samarkand and Khiva. Nowadays several project 
are being worked out in this sphere. This gives wide range of opportunities for these 
regions to develop their local economy. New work places will be opened, entrepreneurs 
will widen their activities, local and foreign investment will be attracted.
