Andijan machine-building institute (AndMI) participates in all the project 
activities as assistant and responsible for tasks: 
-
Participation in survey to determine the level of implementation of 
digital tools in the higher educational institutions in Uzbekistan; 
-
Contributing to developing Concept of adapting the education system 
to the digital generation; 
-
Participation in establishment of a Centre of Innovative Educational 
Technologies, active learning classrooms and virtual classroom software at AndMI; 
-
Organizing courses for trainers and lecturers for the acquisition of 
digital skills and innovative teaching and learning methods. Development of open 
educational resources; 
-
Participate in evaluation of all deliverables; 
-
Participation the development of the Dissemination and Exploitation 
plan. Promotes project results in national/ international forums & media; 
-
Taking part in project meetings and in the preparation of the Final 
report. 
Methodology 
HiEdTec project activities were divided preparation, design, implementation, 
and exploitation phases. At the preparation stage a questionnaire for gathering the 
knowledge and experience of the EU partners in the implementation of IETs and 
didactic models in the process of teaching and learning in HE were developed. The 
number of good practice examples was the quantitative indicator of project quality. 
At the design stage Concepts of adapting the education system to the digital 
generation were produced. The draft version was sent for evaluation to the Ministries 
of Education. After considered all comments final versions of the Concepts were 
compiled, printed and published on the web site of all partner universities. 
The implementation stage envisages the following outputs: 
• IET Centre was established; 
• 3 Active learning classrooms were equiped; 
• Virtual classroom software selected 
• Handbook of IET in a printed version and electronic interactive multimedia 
format
