Bog'liq Professional Front Office Management Pearson New International Edition by Robert Woods, Jack D. Ninemeier, David K. Hayes, Michele A. Austin (z-lib.org)
1. What are the most important responsibilities in your present position? The front office manager must ensure that his or her team has the necessary skills, tools, and
guidance to achieve our goals of profitability, guest satisfaction, and associates’ satisfaction.
2. What are the biggest challenges that confront you in your day-to-day work and in the long- term operation of your property’s front office? Several significant challenges are balancing rooms inventory based on guests’ preferences,
reducing the occurrence of problems, and improving problem resolution tactics when issues do
occur. It is always important that all guests receive the utmost attention and service that is
warm and courteous. This creates lasting memories so they keep returning. In the long term,
developing future leaders is my main challenge. Finding talent amid a scarce labor pool increases
that challenge.
