Using SNS for learning purposes     

The results in Table 8 reveal that students showed high extent in using the internet to dis-

cuss homework (m=4.00), share learning materials with classmates (m=4.00), and to search 

for information to do assignments (m=3.7). On the other hand, the students showed mod-

erate level of using the internet to do follow up study after school (m=2.75), to watch edu-

cational  programs  (m=3.30). However,  they  have  limited  extent  of  using  the  internet  to 

practice English with friends (m=2.30), download multimedia materials for lesson prepa-

ration (m=2.50), watching the new in English language (m=2.30) attending online courses 

(m=1.20). The findings showed students have limited extent of activities in using the inter-

net for learning purposes which implies that have not recognized the efficiency of exploit-

ing the internet for learning and educating purposes.
