The aim of the lesson: 

Educational: - to learn to talk about parts of school 

Developing: - to enable pupils to ask and answer the questions 

Sociolinguistic competence: - to raise awareness of the pronunciation of “oo”— [u:] 

Linguistic  competence:  By  the  end  of  the  lesson,  pupils  will  be  able  to:  -  guess  the 

meaning 

of the new words from pictures; - use new words and structures; - read words with 

“oo” — [u:] 

Equipments: textbooks, handouts, technical aids, a map of the world, a blackboard and
