The aim of the lesson: 

Educational:- to learn how to ask and answer Yes/no questions 

Developing: - to enable pupils to ask and answer Yes/no questions 

Sociolinguistic  competence:-to  raise  awareness  of  how  to  ask  and  answer  Yes/no 

questions 

Linguistic competence: At the end of the lesson pupils will be able to: - ask questions 

about likes; - give short answers: Yes, I do./No, I don’t. 

Equipments: textbooks, handouts, technical aids, a map of the world, a blackboard and 

a piece of chalk.
