The aim of the lesson: 

Educational:- to learn the structure: I like + verb + ing; 

Developing:- to enable pupils to say their likes using the gerund; 

Sociolinguistic competence:- to raise awareness of the ways of saying likes to different 

activities 

Linguistic competence: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to: - name different 

activities; - say what games and activities they like using I like + verb + ing 

Equipments: textbooks, handouts, technical aids, a map of the world, a blackboard and 

a piece of chalk.
