Does everyone have a right to free healthcare?

Yes.  I do think that healthcare is a right and everyone should have ac­

cess  to  a  free  health  service.  If people  have  to  pay  for  any  and  every 

medical need it would be com pletely unfair as those in poverty would

not be able to receive the help th at they need. In an emergency, health 

professionals w ould eith er have to refuse to help an ill or injured p er­

son because they could not afford it  (which w ould go against the H ip­

pocratic O ath) or the person would be treated  but end up in enorm ous 

debt. T he health of the individual  has to be the priority.

Do you think rich people get a better quality o f healthcare than poor?

Rich people have the option of paying for private  healthcare and this 

can be o f a b e tte r quality than the free service th at everyone else uses. 

Private  healthcare  tends  to  be  of a  much  higher  quality  because  the 

staff have m uch m ore tim e for each  individual patient.

How can eating healthily and exercising regularly benefit your life? 

R egular exercise  and  eating healthily can  benefit your life by making 

you  m uch  fitter,  h e a lth ie r  and  happier.  If you  have  an  active  and 

healthy lifestyle  then you  are  less likely to becom e  ill  and  m ore  likely 

to  feel  content  and  happy with  your  life.  This  is because  exercise  re­

leases endorphins, which m ake you feel happy, and overall you should 

feel like you have m ore energy. Also, if you eat healthy foods then you 

are much less likely to feel uncom fortable and full after meals. It seems 

sim ple  and  logical  to m e  -  a healthy lifestyle  is a happy lifestyle.
