Describe a time when you had to go to the doctor’s(hospital 

You should say:

I’ve only had to go to hospital once and that was when I fell off a horse. 

It kicked m e in the face w hen I fell, so I have quite a deep cut n ear my 

eye.  I  was  quite  shaken  up  by  the  whole  experience,  and  scared  th at 

the  horse  had  done  m ore  dam age  than just  a  cut.  I  had  to  have  an x- 

ray  to  check  th at  I  h ad n ’t  broken  any bones  in  my face,  and  luckily  I 

was fine - it was such  a relief!  The doctor stitched up the cut and gave 

me som e drops to put on  it,  to  m ake sure  it didn’t get infected.
