The control of behavior as the mental mechanism of subject regulation
We hypothesized that the base of self- regulation is the control of behavior as 
the integrative feature of individuals. We supposed that control of behavior is the 
new conceptual construct. Many researchers studied human regulation and con-
cerned only one of the aspects of individual capabilities (emotional regulation, 
cognitive control or voluntary control of actions). In the paper the different approach 
are compared. Our construct “control of behavior” consists of three domains: cogni-

tive control, emotional regulation and control of actions. All of the three domains 
are included in unified system of individual regulation. From “self-regulation” our 
construct differs on less realized behavior and more specified of mental processes. 
The control of behavior as component of unified system enables to extract the men-
tal experience and to straighten it out, to organize the model of goal decision, to 
predict results and consequences of goal-direction actions. The emotional regulation 
permit to inhibit of emotional tension and impulsive expressions, to understand the 
emotions of Self and Others. The control of actions provides the organization of 
goal-direction actions, and creates the voluntary control of behavior and will control. 
The nature of control of behavior is in individual resources and capacities, individ-
ual environment and experience. If our hypothesis is right then we’ll be able to re-
search the unique profile of subjective organization.

Индивидуальные стратегии личностной адаптации
Адаптация рассматривается как личностный феномен. Интегральным 
выражением адаптационных процессов признается стратегия адаптации. Стра-
тегия характеризует вектор поведения личности в изменяющихся условиях 
существования, вовлеченность в переживание происходящего, зависимость 
реагирования на происходящие изменения от прошлого опыта и индивидуаль-
ного смысла будущего.
Приводятся частные и общие критерии классификаций личностных адап-
тационных стратегий. К первым относятся скорость перестройки физиологи-
ческих реакций, доминирующее эмоциональное переживание, ко вторым — ха-
рактер, отношение к жизни и т.п. Раскрывается психологическое содержание 
стратегий, направленных на самосохранение и самораскрытие личности. Пока-
зывается роль эмоциональных, коммуникативных свойств личности в форми-
ровании адаптационных стратегий.
